| Course Requirements for the Journalism & Communication Bachelor’s Degree. Students must complete 128 credits, including 28 credits from University requirements and 64credits from department requirements. Nine core groups of courses are provided: 1. Social Science and Humanities 2. Introduction to Journalism 3.Introduction to Speech Communication 4. News Reporting and Writing 5. News Editing and Planning 6. Photo journalism 7.
